Federalist 51 for EXTRA CREDIT!!!
Federalist 51 introduces and talks about the idea of checks and balances in the government. They talk about it in terms of elections, salaries, and other things. They state that each branch of the government must somehow have a check on its power while still being able to control some things. It discusses the responsibility of the government to watch to make sure the people are not being oppressed, and how a government 'for the people, by the people' is the best way for the United States to go.

Actually, the Chinese new year starts later than our calendar new year. Natalie and I both have January birthdays, before the Chinese new year, so we are snakes after all. Haha.
